CARIS strongly recommends that organizations create a backup, that is, an export, of an HPD database schema before upgrading it using a newer version of the CARIS HPD Server program.
Important It is important to ensure that all HPD users are logged off the database schema before starting to export a database schema. If this is not done, this may result in data integrity issues in some database tables. If the schema is imported again later, constraints in the tables could fail to be re-enabled during the import process. |
