Create Line Feature

Create > New Feature > Line

Create a new line.

For complete information about creating new features, see Create Features.

By default, you add the line as a point to point line, but you can select several different line types from the pop-up menu.

When you change line types, digitizing continues from the most recent end point.

Line type commands:

• Digitize Point to Point Line

• Digitize Geodesic Line

• Digitize Squared Line

• Digitize Stream Line

• Digitize Arc

• Digitize Geodetic Arc

• Digitize Circle

• Digitize Geodetic Circle

• Digitize Rectangle

• Digitize Fitted Curve

• Digitize Loxodrome

• Digitize Spline

You can only create features within the project boundaries.

Procedure

1. Select the Create Line Feature command.

2. Select an acronym and set any necessary attributes.

3. Digitize the line using the appropriate line type.
